We regularly cater at some of the most popular music festivals in the world! Our marquee set up’s are super versatile, perfect for corporate events and private functions where a fun & funky Latin inspired theme can be created.
Our aim has always been to provide sophisticated, yet fun food and have a good time doing it…. All of our units pass regular NICEIC electrical certification tests and all units conform to current Gas Safe legislation.
We hold £10 million public, products & employers liability insurance. Our staff hold at least a Level 2 in Food Hygiene with staff in management positions holding a Level 3.
We have been awarded the maximum 5 stars for food safety by our Local Authority.

Weddings & Parties
Are you looking for alternative yet affordable wedding catering?
Food that your guests will be talking about for months to come? We can provide a super cool Mexican inspired food fiesta for you and your guests, complete with salsa music, pinatas and of course tequila.
Our tacos are the perfect evening finger food and our tortas the perfect foil for sandwiches and vol au vonts. Who could resist sliced barbecued chicken, fresh salsa and choice of spicy or not so spicy sauces?
Or how about a torta filled with 7 hour cooked pulled pork, pickled pink onions and crunchy lettuce?
We can prepare any food for you or we can let your guests be in charge of their own food and simply give advice on what would make the perfect taco combinations (napkins are of course provided!).
Tortas are awesome Mexican sandwiches and make the centrepiece to a perfect cold buffet.
The Woolly Cactus can normally cater anywhere within 75 miles of our base in Bristol, but can we can be persuaded to go a bit further if necessary.
We will liaise with both you and your wedding venue throughout the planning process to ensure both our food & service is perfect.
If necessary we will set up our small Mexican inspired beach shack with absolutely no disruption to your big day and our uniformed staff will be on hand to do the rest. Alternatively, we can use existing facilities to serve the cold Mexican buffet.
We work closely with Halflight wedding band (one of the best event bands in the South West) and Caroline at Bristol Wedding Photographic to offer a package that will help reduce the amount of organising for you wedding day.
